What an honor to be able to speak at the STR Wealth Conference in June! This was such an amazing event to be a part of and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to share my knowledge with this platform!

I want to shout out some of my fellow speakers and highlight some of the value they brought to the table -

TJ Tjani told his story about how real estate helped him move forward from the grind of his engineering job. Something he said that really stuck with me was this: “In real estate you need 3 things: time, experience, and capital." But you don’t necessarily need all 3 by yourself - you can partner with other people!

Chris Ledwidge shared a variety of ways to finance your next rental deal, using traditional loans, DSCR, and bank statement loans, all of which can open the door for entrepreneurs who don’t have traditional jobs.

Julie George was so passionate about what she’s doing! She went from 0-130 properties in 18 months and then sold the business. She shared from her experience with running this business, breaking down the org chart and what she paid each position.

Michael Sjogren was super inspirational - he talked about how you can change the reality in which you live if you continue to work at it. His biggest fear is looking back on his life and regretting NOT taking certain actions. This talk was SUPER authentic and the event wouldn’t have been the same without it.

Bill Faeth and Michael Sjogren talked about operational strategies - there’s no one right or wrong way to do things, it just depends on your goals. They shared from their experiences and the ways their two methods are different.

But for me, the highlight of this event was the time I spent with my fiancé and getting to see her learn more and get excited about real estate!
